Singer Tom Jones was forced to cancel a concert in Budapest on Tuesday evening.
Initial reports stated that he had collapsed just an hour before the show was due to take place - but the legendary singer has since stated that wasn't the case. Instead, he announced that he was suffering from a throat infection which caused severe inflammation.
At the time, local news outlets reported that an ambulance had been called for Tom while a spokesperson for his Surrounded by Time tour confirmed that he had been taken ill. However, the spokesperson did not mention anything about the singer collapsing before the show.
