Michigan State basketball’s legendary coach Tom Izzo is apparently far from the point of hanging it up.
Izzo met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the upcoming season and trip to Northern Michigan this weekend for an exhibition game at his alma mater. As part of Tuesday’s press conference, Izzo stated he has no plans of retiring anytime soon.

Izzo has been at Michigan State since 1983 when he joined the program as an assistant coach. He became the Spartans head coach in 1995 and will enter his 30th season as Michigan State’s head coach this season.
There has been no indication that Izzo plans to retire, but it’s still refreshing for fans to know that’s not something he’s considering at this time.
