Tom Holland's IG Name Allegedly Changed: Why Fans Think He Took Zendaya's Last Name Amid Secret Marriage Revelation

A rumour has taken the internet by storm following a major spilled tea regarding Hollywood's favourite power couple. During the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, 1 March, longtime stylist Law Roach had a quick chat with Access Hollywood.

The stylist Law Roach dropped a bombshell: Spider-Man co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland have reportedly already tied the knot. The stylist said, 'The wedding has already happened,' and even teased the reporter, saying, 'You missed it!'

Roach's revelation came after photos of the actress circulated online, showing Zendaya wearing a gold band a week earlier instead of her engagement ring.

While the secret marriage has yet to be confirmed by the couple themselves, fans have spiralled into a new theory. Speculation is mounting that Holland may have even taken his wife's last name—Coleman.

The speculation gained traction after viral screenshots allegedly showed the actor's Instagram handle changing to remove his last name entirely. Here is the truth behind the 'Tom Coleman' rumour and the reality of the alleged social media fiasco.

Fans Think Tom Holland Took Zendaya's Last Name

The screenshot shows that the actor has entirely removed his last name, prompting fans to think he is now 'Tom Coleman'. A Facebook account shared the screenshot, The Tab.

In it, the fans said: 'OMGG TOM REMOVES "HOLLAND" FROM HIS INSTAGRAM NAME AFTER CONFIRMATION OF WEDDING!!!!!' along with crying emoji. This was re-posted by another fan, with a caption: 'awww he took her last name'.

The Truth About 'Tom Coleman' Rumour

While the last name fiasco has yet to be confirmed, the 'Tom Coleman' rumour continues to circulate online.

However, the screenshot shared by the Facebook account shows a clear disparity and is not just misleading — it's simply untrue. In reality, Holland never removed or changed his last name.

A quick look at his Instagram profile tells the real story. Holland, whose account goes by the handle Tom Holland (@tomholland2013), remains unchanged.

Although there's still a possibility that the actor could take his wife's last name, it's best not to believe anything unless it's confirmed by the couple themselves or supported by an official document verifying the name change.

Furthermore, the screenshot was likely posted just to gain engagement from people, given that the secret wedding revelation has taken the internet by storm.

Alleged Wedding Photos Spreading on the Internet

To top the last name rumour off, an alleged wedding photo of the couple is also spreading on the internet. It was a blurry photo of Holland and Zendaya on the aisle. The Spider-Man actor is wearing a classic black suit and tie, while Zendaya is wearing a white lace dress and veil, with her hair in a low bun

The photo was shared on X by a user who goes by the handle MIGO (@migosaur). They captioned the post: 'so happy for them🤍💍'.

The photo quickly gained attention online, although many were sceptical about it, prompting them to ask the platform's AI, Grok, to which it responded with 'The wedding ceremony photo looks fake—likely AI-generated or edited, as no real images from any event have been released or verified.'

Now, the post has a community note stating that the account that posted the photo used AI to generate the picture.

Neither Zendaya nor Holland — nor their representatives — has released any statement confirming the news or even hinted at a marriage on social media. Official photos from the alleged secret wedding have also yet to surface online.
