Tom Hoge is somewhat of a veteran of the PGA Tour, with the North Dakota native plying his trade on the US circuit since 2015.

Tom Hoge facts:

1. Hoge was born in Statesville, North Carolina on the 25th of May in 1989.

2. He attended Fargo South High School and was named North Dakota Most Outstanding golfer in his senior year.

3. He attended Texas Christian University. He studied Accounting and Finance, and he graduated in 2011.

4. Hoge won the North Dakota Match Play Championship three years in a row from 2006-2008.

5. He won the Minnesota State Amateur in both 2009 and 2010.

5. He turned pro in 2011.

7. He started out on the PGA Tour Canada and won the Canadian Tour Players Cup in 2011.

8. He co-led the 2015 Wyndham Championship after 36-holes with Tiger Woods and was paired with the golf legend in the third round.

9. He won the 2017 North Dakota Open in his now-hometown of Fargo, North Dakota at Fargo Country Club.

10. He won his maiden PGA Tour title at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, beating Jordan Spieth by two strokes. It was his 203rd start on the PGA Tour.

11. His second PGA Tour victory was an unofficial one, coming in the QBE Shootout team event alongside Sahith Theegala.

12. His best Major finish is a T9 at the 2022 PGA Championship.

13. He holds the course record at TPC Sawgrass with a 10-under-par 62 shot in the third round of the 2023 Players Championship.

14. He and his wife Kelly met while playing junior golf in Minnesota. They eventually started dating when Hoge was playing on the Korn Ferry Tour, where she joined him on the road. Kelly played golf at Montana State and caddied for her now-husband in the early days. They married in Marco Island, Florida in 2017.

16. He had made over $20m on the PGA Tour.

17. He led the PGA Tour in putts from inside 3ft during the 2018-19 season with an incredible 816/816 holed.

18. He enjoys skiing and regularly takes to the slopes of Vail, Colorado.

19. His career-high world ranking is 24th.

20. He has two runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour, coming at the 2022 American Express and 2019 A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier.
