The next chapter in the career of Tom Brady will be broadcasting, but don’t expect to see the former New England Patriots quarterback on your television screens anytime soon.
During an appearance on The Herd, Brady announced that he would be starting his broadcasting career in fall 2024.
“For me, I want to be great at what I do. Talking even last week with people at FOX Sports and the leadership there will allow me to start my FOX opportunity in the fall of 2024 is something that’s great for me,” said Brady. “So take some time to really learn, become great at what I want to do—become great at thinking about the opportunity and make sure I don’t rush into anything.”

That leaves the rest of 2023 for people to inevitably speculate about a return to football, even though Brady clearly stated he was retiring “for good” last Wednesday.
But when the time comes, it’ll be different seeing Brady on the other end of the spectrum as the one asking the questions instead of answering them. That might be the one thing capable of convincing the masses that his football career really is over.
