Tom Brady confirmed his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday after 22 seasons – but while doing so failed to mention the team with which he spent the vast majority of that stellar career.
Reports first emerged last week that the 44-year-old was considering calling time on his trophy-laden career, though he later clarified that his final decision had not yet been made.
That has now changed, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announcing on his social media channels that he had made his final appearance in the NFL.
