Tom Brady responds to report of him possibly walking away from FOX Sports contract: ‘Fake news’

Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady has called shenanigans on a recent report that he might consider backing out of his mega FOX Sports broadcasting deal.

After New York Post sports media columnist Andrew Marchand shared that Brady’s probability of actually fulfilling his FOX Sports contract could now be just “49-51,” Sports Illustrated posted about the report on its Instagram.

Well, Brady was quick to dismiss the report with a comment on the Instagram post that read “FakeNews.”

The future Hall of Famer has already denied rumors that he’d unretire to join the Miami Dolphins, and now he’s denying rumors that his future broadcast career could be in flux.

Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract to broadcast games for FOX Sports last year, and the possibility of Brady replacing former NFL tight end Greg Olsen on the network’s A-team for the former’s planned 2024 start has garnered some controversy.

However, Brady’s future is only fully known to him, and we’re not even sure if he’s 100-percent sold on what he wants to do. For now, his playing days look over, and his broadcasting future still looks like the next step.
