While expressing faith in Dak Prescott’s leadership abilities, actor Denzel Washington questioned the Cowboys's chances of adding to the franchise’s five Super Bowl trophies this year.
While appearing on Tom Brady's Let’s Go! Podcast, the former standout signal-caller asked Washington what he thought of Dallas’s chances this season.
The two-time Academy Award winner was initially left at a loss for words on how to answer before throwing it back to Brady.
“I don’t know. I don’t know. I can’t — Can you figure them out?” said Washington.”
Brady responded by making the claim that despite always being in the mix, something always holds the Cowboys back.
"They always feel like they're right on the brink, and, then, it just doesn't quite get them to the top, top," said Brady.

While stopping short of endorsing any Super Bowl aspirations, Washington boldly supported Prescott.
“I love the kid, I love the quarterback, I love him. He’s a leader of men. He’s a man of God. He’s due … Defenses win championships,” added Washington.
After their convincing 45-10 win over Washington on Thanksgiving Day, Dallas extended its winning streak to three consecutive games while improving to 8-3 on the year.
The Cowboys and their fans are hoping the storied franchise can appear in its first Super Bowl since 1996 this season, thanks to a balanced team that possesses stars on both sides of the ball.
