State-of-the-art go-karting is coming to the north of England for the very first time. Revellers in Yorkshire will be able to experience high-speed, all-electric, Tokyo-style racing on a multi-level track.
The new facility is coming to the Xscape leisure complex in Castleford, YorkshireLive reports. The £2 million spectacle includes a neon-lit track designed by racetrack driving professionals, complete with hills and banked corners.
Due to the karts running on batteries there are no petrol fumes and fireproof overalls are not necessary. And a lack of petrol does not mean a lack of speed as the attraction is promising the 'most high-powered e-Karts on the market'. Two-seater karts also allow children to drive safely in tandem with older partners.
