There are fresh fears of a new toilet roll shortages at UK supermarkets, with people urged not to panic buy

It comes after an EU law change with Birmingham Live reporting that the UK is being warned to expect toilet roll shortages after a fresh European Union ban.

The EU is set to ban products and items tied to deforestation. Loo roll firm Cheeky Panda owner Chris Forbes said to The Grocer: "There will definitely be a squeeze on availability and we can expect the price of recycled tissue to rise as demand for alternatives increases."
