A 40-year-old man from Bihar's Darbhanga district passed away in a Delhi hospital after succumbing to a heatstroke. Employed at a factory, he struggled against the intense heatwave gripping the national capital, where temperatures have soared to a record 50 degrees Celsius. This case underscores the urgent need for public awareness and precautionary measures during heat waves. According to the attending physician, the man's living conditions—lacking a cooler or fan—worsened his situation. His body temperature had escalated to a dangerous 107 degrees Fahrenheit, far beyond the normal range and ultimately fatal.
