'Dragon Ball Super: Beerus' is being promoted with a new 'Super Surge' trailer that not only confirms Frieza's return but also teases 'a new threat closing in on Earth', hinting at material well beyond the opening Beerus storyline.

The footage appears to draw on sequences widely associated with the Universe 6 arc, while the official Dragon Ball announcement frames the enhanced series around Beerus, Frieza and unnamed 'new characters that threaten the fate of Earth'.
