A toddler has been airlifted to hospital after a ute reversed over her on the Queensland island of K'gari.
The girl was pushed face first into the sand when the vehicle rolled over her at slow speed on Thursday morning, RACQ LifeFlight Rescue said.
The child is believed to have been unresponsive immediately afterwards, prompting the father to perform CPR for about one minute.
Her parents then drove her to the eastern side of what was formerly known as Fraser Island to wait for emergency services to arrive.
"The toddler had extensive bruising and tyre marks on her leg, back and ear," an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue statement said.
The child was airlifted, along with her mother, to Brisbane's Queensland Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
