Toddler orders 31 McDonald's cheeseburgers after grabbing his mum's phone

A two-year-old boy ordered himself 31 McDonald's cheeseburgers after grabbing his mum's phone and jabbing wildly at the screen.

He somehow managed to open a food delivery app, and soon a driver was knocking at the door with a box full of burgers.

Kelsey Golden, from Texas, USA, was left bemused by the huge delivery but soon she realised what had happened and paid the £50 ($61) bill, alongside a tip of £12 ($16) tip.

Luckily Kelsey saw the funny side and shared a post on social media showing her son next to a mountain of cheeseburgers, offering them away to her followers for free.

Taking to Instagram, Kelsey wrote: "I have 31 free cheeseburgers from McDonald’s if anyone is interested - apparently my two-year-old knows how to order DoorDash."

She said she had been using her computer when her son grabbed her phone, but she let him have it - assuming he would play with the camera.

Speaking to local news outlet KRIS, she added: "He usually likes to take pictures of himself, and so he was doing that. I thought I’d locked the phone but apparently, I didn’t because then DoorDash came with 31 cheeseburgers.

"I didn’t know what to do with them, he only ate half of one, so I posted on a community page on Facebook here in Kingsville and asked if anybody wanted some."

Meanwhile, children can be a handful and one mum on Reddit has been branded as "entitled" for her approach to the morning rush.

She asked her 16-year-old stepdaughter to take over the duties instead - so that she can spend an hour longer in bed.

The mum explained she and her husband have four children together, as well as her husband's two children from a previous relationship, one of which lives with them full-time.

She also said she's never asked her stepdaughter to help out before because she always had her husband on hand to assist her, but now he's started a new job which sees him leave the house before his kids get up.
