A toddler has been hailed a 'self-care queen' after her mum found her enjoying a bath she ran for herself while tucking into fistfuls of roast chicken that was meant for dinner. Mum, Natashia Ouellette, claims she'd been gone for under 10 minutes while putting her youngest child to bed when she came out to find her toddler, Alex, having some time to herself in the bath.
According to Natashia, the three-year-old had pulled off a successful heist of the fridge and found herself the roast chicken before heading upstairs with a drink to enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by all her toys. On seeing her eldest child 'living the dream' the mum posted a clip on TikTok which then went viral before she was forced to order takeaway pizza for dinner as their roast chicken had been stolen.

Natashia, 30, said: "She was just born awesome. She got the chicken from the fridge, the bathroom's connected to the kitchen. It took her no time to grab the chicken, go right to the bath and enjoy herself. She was living the dream."
In response to seeing her dinner stolen that night, Natashia claimed she could not get angry as it was a once-in-a-lifetime sight to see.
"We had to order pizza. I wasn't cooking anything else as it was too late. She was smart. It was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, I had to capture it," said Natashia.
The mum, from Windsor, Canada, says she was gone for around seven minutes while putting her youngest, Kai, who is three months old, to bed.
"I was gone for about seven minutes and when I came back, I heard some noise from the bathroom," she recalled. "I looked in and there was my daughter with the chicken floating in the bath. She'd run it herself. We don't have a regular bath, we have a stand-up shower so she'd used a bucket. She knew exactly what to do."
Once found, the toddler tried to offer her mum some of the chicken but it was turned down on the basis it had been floating in bath water.
"I then grabbed the rest of the carcass, took out all of the bones and left what was left in case she wanted to eat it. She picked at it a bit. She'd even got herself a drink in her sippy cup and that was floating around too," Natashia added.
"She always gets up to mischief. This was the first time she'd even run a bath and eaten a chicken, but almost every day she's getting into something. The other morning, I got up from changing the baby and she'd got hold of his baby formula and sprinkled it all around the house as if it were snow."
The clip has received a lot of reaction from others on TikTok, garnering more than one million views and thousands of comments with one person writing: "We love an independent queen."
While another said: "Now that's what I call self-care."
