A toddler is in a serious condition after being rescued from an irrigation channel and resuscitated in northern Victoria this morning.
Ambulance Victoria was called to a property at Pine Lodge, near Shepparton, about 9:30am.
Paramedics treated the toddler at the scene before the child was airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne in a serious condition.
This afternoon, the hospital said the toddler's condition had stabilised.
Shepparton Search and Rescue received notification of an incident involving a child in an irrigation channel but were not required to provide assistance.
Shepparton police also attended the scene.
