Glen Johnson has urged Chelsea to sell Kai Havertz in the summer transfer window.
The German striker has had a mixed Chelsea career since moving to London from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020. The 23-year-old has netted just 19 times in 85 Premier League appearances for the Blues, although he did score the winner in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City.
However, since Thomas Tuchel's appointment at Bayern Munich last month, Havertz has been linked with a move to the German champions. "Bayern are generally a huge club that it's hard to say no to as a German player," said Havertz, speaking to Sport Bild. "But my personal goal has always been to play abroad at some point. In England or Spain."
