Chelsea have announced a new long-term partnership with Tempus Ex Machina with the aim of 'powering innovative technology enhancements for the club and global fanbase.'
In a statement from the club, it is confirmed that a seven-year contract has been agreed with the 'cutting-edge technology company revolutionising the sports and entertainment industry.'
The company have already agreed a deal with NFL side San Francisco 49ers and will provide 'new interactive experiences around live events' for the Blues. The statement goes on to explain: "Tempus Ex’s FusionFeed™ technology is the only solution that can synchronize and deliver every available piece of data generated by every data and video vendor at a live sporting event - including every video angle, stats platform, and player tracker covering every play."

This new technology will be consumable by supporters in numerous ways including across the 5th Stand app, digitial and mobile fan engagement, in-stadium enhancements and sponsor activations. It is also used for 'coaching, training, player health and safety, and match preparation'.
Todd Boehly explained the partnership, as well as the long-term deal, saying: "Our fans deserve the best technology and our partnership with Tempus Ex will provide many features they have never seen before.
"We believe passionately in the opportunity we have with Tempus Ex to reshape parts of the fan experience. We’re looking forward to sharing more in the coming months."
