Todd Boehly could make marquee 'Michael Jordan' signing amid Neymar and Eden Hazard speculation

With the announcement of Todd Boehly's consortium as the new owners of Chelsea seemingly not too far away, It's only right for the Blues to start eyeing some marquee signings. Signings that will make a statement to the football world. That is why Neymar Jr and Chelsea would be a match made in heaven.

Reports claim that the Brazilian could be leaving Paris St Germain this summer if the right offer comes along. Neymar has been with the Ligue 1 champions for 5 years now and quite frankly, it's time for a change. He has conquered Spain, conquered France, there are only three leagues left where he can make his mark. The Premier League will provide the spotlight that he needs to carry on his legacy.

The Blues' priority is to fix their defence but not too far down the list is finding an attacker that could provide a creative edge. Despite Neymar now being 30, he is still performing at a magnificent level, and will undoubtedly be a positive addition to the team. He may feel like a Roman Abramovich-era signing with the flashy name and proven track record, but he can also set the tone for the Boehly era.
