Today's weather update (June 30): IMD issues rain, thunderstorm alert for multiple states as monsoon advances; light rain likely in Delhi too

The southwest monsoon continued its rapid advance across India on June 30, bringing rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds to several parts of the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued weather alerts for multiple states, warning of heavy rainfall and gusty winds reaching up to 70 kmph in some regions.
