Today's Public Health Scotland Covid update for all 32 Scots councils as 8,656 cases reported

A further 8,656 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland — including 661 in Ayrshire.

Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,360 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is up 93 from Friday.

There are currently 18 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
