A further 6,221 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland as some of Scotland's Covid restrictions are relaxed.
The latest figures now include cases identified using either a first positive LFD (lateral flow device) or PCR test.
Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,557 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals which is up down five from yesterday.
There are currently 43 people being treated for the disease in ICUs.
However one health board has not been able to submit data since yesterday and their data has been rolled forwards from Saturday, January 15.
No more deaths from the virus have been recorded in the last 24 hours meaning the nation's death toll remains at 10,062.
However, 12,543 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, January 9 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Meanwhile, there are 152 patients with Covid in Ayrshire hospitals – up 15 from Friday – while fewer than five people are being treated with the illness in the region's intensive care units.
The statistics were released as large outdoor public events such as football matches were given the green light to resume.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, South Lanarkshire has the highest rate in the country – at 721.6 as of Sunday, January 16.
Fife has the second-highest infection rate at 699.8 while Falkirk is third with 698.8,.
In terms of Ayrshire's thee local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 623.4; North Ayrshire's rate stands at 584.7 while South Ayrshire's is 478.9
Of the 149 new PCR cases reported in Ayrshire, 52 were in East Ayrshire with 49 in South Ayrshire and 48 in North Ayrshire.

A total of 4,400,229 people have received one dose of a Covid vaccine; 4,087,517 are double jabbed and 3,204,311 people have received a third dose/booster.
