To motivate corona warriors, Medical Corps go extra mile

LUCKNOW: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to commemorate 258th Army Medical Corps Raising Day under the aegis of Directorate General of Medical Service (Army), a motorcycle expedition was conducted encompassing 4 Commands & 12 states including seven North East states.

The expedition was flagged at Veer Naik Deepak Singh, VrC, Parade Ground of AMC Centre & College by Maj Gen JP Prasad, Officiating Commandant, AMC C&C and OIC AMC Records.

The motorcycle expedition was undertaken exclusively by the health fraternity of Army Medical Corps. The team visited more than 75 Army & Civil medical establishments to motivate Corona warriors, including doctors and paramedics, posted in far-flung areas providing critical medical support with an ethos of ‘shoulders behind soldiers.’

The expedition covered over 10,000km over a span of 20 days. It was led by Kargil war vetean Col Rajesh W Adhau.
