The Trinamool Congress on Wednesday dissolved all its organisational committees and frontal organisations in West Bengal with immediate effect, initiating a sweeping overhaul of the party structure after its defeat in the state assembly election.
In a statement, the party said it would undertake a comprehensive introspection, performance review and organisational assessment at every level to identify shortcomings that contributed to its loss.
