Goa: TMC demands clarity on forced retirement of govt staff, talks of back door entry for BJP supporters

PANAJI: The BJP govt’s policy to force non-performing govt employees to put in their papers, is nothing but creation of a back door entry for youth with ties with the ministers and the BJP, said the Trinamool Congress party.

Accusing the Pramod Sawant govt of tampering with the retirement rules, the TMC demanded that the govt spell out its intentions on a white paper.

Speaking at a press conference, the party’s media coordinator Trajano D’Mello said that the govt needs to specify the meaning of “lethargic” and “non-performing” govt employees before implementing the policy.
