High-street retail chain TK Maxx has issued an urgent recall for one of their baby products over fears that it could post a danger to little ones.
The budget store has announced a recall for its Queenswest Trading Co Baby Blanket over 'entrapment, strangulation and choking' fears.
Customers who have purchased the blanket are being urged to return it to their nearest branch. The blanket is currently available in both beige and blue, each with a different code - Blue 714010 and Beige 714015.
The retailer pulled the blanket from shelves after information shared from Trading Standards found that it contains loose threads which post a danger to young children, reports The Mirror.
In their recall, TK Maxx, jointly with its homeware store Homesense, said in a statement: "We have identified a safety concern and are recalling the above product due to an issue which may result in loose threads around the edge of the blanket.
"These threads may present entrapment, strangulation, and choking hazards which are a serious safety risk. The safety of our customers is very important to us and.
"The product code or will be shown on the price sticker and your receipt. The product was on sale in TK Maxx and Homesense stores.
"If you purchased the product, please and return to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund."
