All-Ireland final heartbreak has TJ Reid 'down but not out' as he summed up his feelings after Ballyhale Shamrocks lost their All-Ireland crown.
The Kilkenny club had went an incredible 29 Championship games without defeat as their bid for three-in-a-row All-Ireland titles was ended by Ballygunner in the decider over the weekend.
It was a tense battle between the club hurling heavyweights as the Waterford side netted a last-minute goal to win their first ever All-Ireland crown.
And despite admitting he's gutted that their winning streak was finally ended, Reid couldn't help but look back on the 'incredible' journey as he wished Ballygunner well.
In a post to Twitter, Reid said: "Down but not out. What an incredible 4 years with @ballyhale_shamrocks. What a journey, what a club. 29 championship games unbeaten finally came to an end. What a game, what a final. Enjoy the celebrations Ballygunner."
