Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins expected to play in Week 2

Despite dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out of practice all week, Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will reportedly play in Week 2.

The news comes from NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Hopkins, who is listed as questionable, injured his ankle on the Titans’ last offensive play of the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Hopkins said on Friday he was preparing to play, so his suiting up isn’t much of a surprise. The veteran wideout will make his home debut after making his Titans debut last week, finishing with seven catches for 65 scoreless yards on 13 targets.

While Hopkins is suiting up, the Titans will be without two starters in the secondary in cornerback Kristian Fulton (hamstring) and safety Amani Hooker (concussion), and left guard Peter Skoronski (illness).

The Titans and Chargers will meet at Nissan Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with kickoff set for noon CT. Check out the viewing information and more right here.
