Tennessee Titans 2023 second-round pick and quarterback Will Levis didn’t have a good day during the team’s latest open session of OTAs on Wednesday, per beat writers on the ground.
According to Buck Reising of AtoZ Sports Nashville, Levis had a “shaky day” and struggled when it came to ball placement.
AtoZ Sports also noted that Levis made a bad decision by throwing into double coverage at one point, while also struggling with accuracy and dropping a snap.
Adding to the negative overall assessment of Levis’ day, ESPN’s Turron Davenport pointed out that Levis needs to work on his touch throws.
Following practice, Levis had this to say about his lackluster performance:
“Some ups and downs,” Levis said, per Paul Kuharsky. “Operationally, pretty smooth other than a couple of plays. Those things are going to happen, just got to eliminate those as much as possible. A couple of missed throws and a couple of things I could’ve done better to get us rolling more efficiently but just got to keep stacking and keep working to get better everyday.”
In the clip below, Levis badly misses his target, illustrating some of the issues he had on Wednesday afternoon.

Levis also touched on how his accuracy has improved and noted that he has very high standards for himself.

Hiccups like today are to be expected for a rookie quarterback. All that’s important now is Levis learns from his mistakes and shows progress throughout the rest of the offseason.
