The Tennessee Titans are currently in the midst of a month-plus-long break period. Mandatory minicamp and OTAs ended earlier this month, and players will not report to training camp until Tuesday, July 23.
While some players are undoubtedly utilizing this time to relax, Will Levis and a group of his pass-catchers are using it to get more reps in. Earlier this month, Levis announced his intention to go on a “retreat” with his teammates to work on routes and to bond.
Indeed, the quarterback and several of his skill position players are in Mexico working on routes and getting to know each other better. Levis posted a video on his Instagram titled “vacay with the boys.”

Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, Chig Okonkwo, Josh Whyle, and Tyjae Spears were seen on video with the QB.
Spears and Whyle were rookies in 2023 who showed promise and will benefit from the extra reps. Hopkins and Okonkwo are familiar with Levis and are clearly dedicated to building even more chemistry.

Ridley is the newcomer to the group. The receiver signed a massive deal with the Titans this offseason and will be relied upon to elevate the Titans’ passing attack in 2024.
While no one would blame players for relaxing during this break period, it’s nonetheless an encouraging sign to see the star players getting some work in.
Training camp gets underway in one month and the regular season begins on Sunday, Sept. 8.
