Gold Coast prop Jarrod Wallace is staring at a two-game ban after he was sent off in the Titans' loss to Newcastle on Friday.
Wallace was dismissed by referee Chris Butler in the 70th minute for a dangerous throw.
The 30-year-old prop tipped Newcastle's Simi Sasagi above the horizontal as the Titans succumbed to a 38-12 defeat.
Wallace will miss the Titans' next two matches with an early guilty plea after being hit with a grade-two charge by the NRL on Saturday.
If he opts to fight the charge and loses at the judiciary, Wallace will be handed a three-game suspension.
The Titans face Brisbane, Canterbury and Canberra over the next three weeks and have just one win in their last 12 outings.
Wallace has agreed to join the NRL's 17th team, the Dolphins, for the 2023 season.
