As expected, the Tennessee Titans will host Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt on a top-30 visit ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.
The news comes from Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, although an exact date for the meeting was not revealed.
This comes as zero surprise, as Alt figures to be the favorite for the Titans to draft at No. 7 overall if he’s still on the board in that spot.
Alt was always considered a likely target with the Titans’ need at left tackle, but that became even more the case once Tennessee addressed its need at wide receiver in free agency with the signing of Calvin Ridley.
While Alt would certainly fill the Titans’ biggest remaining need, the team must have an insurance policy in place via free agency just in case the left tackle isn’t there when they’re on the clock.
As of this writing, the Titans haven’t addressed either tackle spot with a signing.
