The Tennessee Titans’ roster shuffling continued on Tuesday with the team’s signing of outside linebacker Zach McCloud to the practice squad. The news comes from McCloud’s agent, Brett Tessler.
McCloud played his college ball at Miami. Over six years, the 6-foot-2, 235-pound outside linebacker tallied 192 tackles (22.5 for loss), 11 sacks and four passes defensed.
After coming out of college this year, McCloud was with the Minnesota Vikings in training camp but failed to make the cut. He then signed on with the Denver Broncos’ practice squad before being released a week ago. The 24-year-old has never played a regular season snap.
After parting ways with some players and losing Logan Woodside to the Atlanta Falcons, the Titans had some open spots on their practice squad. Even with the addition of McCloud the Titans still have three more.
The Tennessee Titans just signed my client Zach McCloud (OLB, UM) to their practice squad. Was with the Minnesota Vikings this preseason and Denver earlier in the year.

McCloud is just the latest in a long list of moves the Titans have made on both the active roster and practice squad since firing general manager Jon Robinson.
