The Tennessee Titans have signed one of the 21 players they invited to rookie minicamp on a tryout basis this past weekend.
According to Turron Davenport of ESPN, the Titans signed cornerback LJ Davis, who played his college ball at Northern Arizona. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Prior to his one-year stint at Northern Arizona, where he tallied 32 tackles, two interceptions and 11 passes defensed in 2022, Davis played in 32 contests over four years at Southern Utah.
In his final season with the Thunderbirds in 2021, Davis finished with 28 total tackles, five pass breakups, two tackles for loss and one interception.

Davis joins a crowded secondary that has plenty of promise but also question marks after injury issues the last few years. Even still, it’s going to be a very difficult group to crack for the rookie. The best he can hope for is to stick through training camp and end up on the practice squad.
