With the Tennessee Titans dealing with a slew of injuries down the stretch of this lost season, the team added some extra hands to the practice squad on Tuesday.
The team announced it has added tight end Devin Asiasi, linebacker Tae Crowder, defensive lineman David Moa and defensive backs Darius Phillips and Kendall Sheffield.
Tight end, defensive line and linebacker are three positions where the Titans have been hit hardest by injuries of late.
The Titans only had two tight ends available in Week 16 and were missing defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons and linebacker Jack Gibbens, both of whom are out for the season after being placed on injured reserve.
In the secondary, cornerbacks Kristian Fulton and Sean Murphy-Bunting and safeties Amani Hooker and K’Von Wallce are dealing with injuries.
The Titans will be back on the field for their second-to-last game of the 2023 season on Sunday when they travel to NRG Stadium to take on the Houston Texans.
