The Tennessee Titans now have three confirmed interviews for their head coaching vacancy out of the nine candidates the team has requested to interview.
According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the Titans are interviewing New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka on Friday for their vacant head coach position.
Kafka is the third confirmed interview for Tennessee, with the other two being Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach Antonio Pierce, who is scheduled to interview this weekend, and Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, who completed his interview on Friday.
As always, check out our head coach interview tracker for all of the latest updates on the Titans’ search to replace former head coach Mike Vrabel.
Kafka took over as the Giants’ play-caller in 2022 and after a solid first season with Big Blue, things went off the rails for New York’s offense, mostly because of injuries and horrible offensive line play.
Prior to his stint in The Big Apple, Kafka was the quarterbacks coach and passing-game coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs.
