The Tennessee Titans and vice president of player personnel, Ryan Cowden, have apparently parted ways, as Cowden is no longer listed on the team’s official website.
Cowden first came aboard in 2016 and served as director of player personnel for two seasons before taking his most recent role. He also served as interim general manager after Jon Robinson was canned.
Cowden was among several candidates for the team’s vacant general manager position earlier this offseason, but the Titans ultimately decided to go out-of-house and hire Ran Carthon. After that, Cowden’s departure was pretty much inevitable.
Parting with Cowden wasn’t the only change revealed for Tennessee on Thursday.
Per Neil Stratton of Inside the League, Max Curtis was named the new player personnel coordinator, Bryce Wasserman the new director of team strategy and John Streicher becomes the director of football administration.
The #Titans have begun restructuring. Max Curtis is the new Player Personnel Coord (Coord, Football Admin/Exec Asst to EVP/GM last yr). Bryce Wasserman is Dir, Team Strategy (staff counsel last yr). Finally, John Streicher is now Dir of Football Admin (Football Dev Coord last yr)

In addition to those moves, the Titans also reportedly hired former Atlanta Falcons college scouting director Anthony Robinson as assistant general manager, giving Tennessee a second along with Chad Brinker.
