We got a glimpse into the mind of the Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry last night on Monday Night Football. When Mike Tirico asked him “how the best running back on the planet” was, Henry responded that it was Nick Chubb and not him. Even the rushing title winner from 2020 knows the Cleveland Browns have the best running back in the league.
And there is merit to Henry’s word as Chubb is the best all-around back in the league. From his vision to his fast feet, to his brand of physicality, there is no shortage of ways Chubb can win.
Chubb is just 29 yards behind Henry for the most rushing yards in the league in an equal amount of games. The difference? Chubb is averaging nearly a yard more per attempt than Henry as the Browns are giving him a career-high in carries in 2022.
It will be a race to the finish between these two and Saquon Barkley that will be fun to watch until the end.
