Gold Coast prop Jarrod Wallace has become the 14th player to be swayed by supercoach Wayne Bennett to sign a NRL deal with the Dolphins for their 2023 debut season.

Wallace will join the expansion club on a two-year contract that further bolsters the Dolphins' forwards roster that includes Felise Kaufusi, Kenny and Jesse Bromwich, Mark Nicholls, Tom Gilbert and Ray Stone.

The Gold Coast-born 30-year-old has played 185 NRL matches since making his debut for Brisbane in 2012, including 112 matches in the past five years for the Titans.

Wallace has featured in six State of Origin matches for Queensland between 2017-19 and played in the Broncos' 2015 NRL grand final loss to North Queensland.

"Jarrod is a highly-experienced front-rower who has had involvement in winning State of Origin teams and has also experienced the pressure of a grand final," Dolphins CEO Terry Reader said.

"We are really excited about the forward pack we have built so far, and Jarrod is just another key piece of that puzzle.

"He was also born in Queensland and has played for both the Broncos and Titans, so will understand just how big and important our local derbies against the other Queensland teams will be next year."
