The Tennessee Titans made a pair of roster moves on Wednesday, one of which included the promotion of a player from the practice squad to the active roster.
That player is tight end Kevin Rader, who played his first snaps of the season in Week 4 after being elevated. Rader saw nine snaps on offense and 13 on defense.
Buy Titans TicketsRader gives the Titans more help on special teams and an extra blocker at tight end. Tennessee now has four players on the roster at the position in Rader, Chig Okonkwo, Josh Whyle and Trevon Wesco.
In addition to promoting Rader, the Titans also re-signed wide receiver Mason Kinsey to the practice squad, which was reported earlier in the day by Justin Melo of The Draft Network.
Kinsey was waived on Monday, along with offensive lineman Xavier Newman. The Berry college product appeared in two games and served as the team’s punt returner, averaging 12.5 yards per.
