NFL Network analyst and former offensive lineman Brian Baldinger has been one of the Tennessee Titans’ biggest supporters over the last handful of years, and more specifically, when it comes to the team’s defensive front.
Baldy has constantly praised the Titans’ pass-rush for its tenacious ability to get after the quarterback. While that hype has certainly taken a hit in 2023, Baldinger still takes the time to give the Titans’ defense some love when warranted.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that Jeffery Simmons, Denico Autry and Arden Key made this week’s “Baldy’s Breakdowns” after they wreaked havoc in Week 12.
The three of them combined for 10 tackles, six tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, four sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
The part of Baldy’s analysis that stood out most was when the NFL analyst broke down Simmons’ sack of Bryce Young, hilariously stating Young’s “bedtime is early tonight. We’re putting you down in the crib early.”
.@Titans anyone who plays them knows its going to be a 60 minute donneybrook. Hard for any QB to feel safe. #TitanUp #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/vM97EaIgcw

That’s obviously a reference to the Panthers rookie quarterback being undersized, as he was noticeably manhandled on the play by the mammoth monster wearing No. 98.
If the Titans want any chance of saving their season, they’re going to need more performances similar to this one.
