The Tennessee Titans made their reported hiring of new assistant general manager Anthony Robinson official on Monday.
It was reported last week that Robinson was set to be hired as the team’s second assistant general manager, joining Chad Brinker. This model is similar to those of the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns.
Robinson, who has a connection with general manager Ran Carthon from their days together with the Atlanta Falcons, will oversee both the college and pro scouting staffs, according to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
Prior to serving as director of college scouting with the Falcons, Robinson broke in as a scouting assistant with the team before being promoted to an area scout.
Robinson also received a general manager interview with Atlanta in 2020 before the job ultimately went to Terry Fontenot.
