One thing that has often eluded the Tennessee Titans ever since they arrived in Nashville is a legitimate franchise quarterback.
The Titans were lucky enough to have a former MVP in Steve McNair at the start of the team’s tenure in Tennessee, and Ryan Tannehill, while not elite, has been a steady presence since he took over in 2019.
However, outside of those two, this team has largely swung and missed on nearly every quarterback it tries to invest in.
In a recent article by Touchdown Wire’s Natalie Miller, which resets the NFL and makes every player available in a draft, Tennessee finally lands the superstar quarterback this fanbase seemingly can only dream of having.
In this experiment, the order is random and the Titans drew the No. 3 overall pick, which they used to select current Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen.
Here is what Miller had to say regarding the fantasy marriage between Allen and Tennessee:
Josh Allen is perhaps the most talented quarterback in the league and has had MVP level of play for multiple seasons so this is an easy pick for the Titans who finally land a franchise quarterback.
Sadly, these types of experiments fall under the category of ‘fantasy’ for a reason, but they are fun to look at nonetheless, especially when news is sparse at this point in the offseason.
Let’s just hope that either Will Levis or Malik Willis can eventually become the type of franchise signal-caller who allows fans to stop fantasizing about these types of unrealistic scenarios when it comes to the most important position in sports.
