It appears there’s some kind of beef between Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Jamarco Jones and starting left tackle Taylor Lewan.
According to AtoZ Sports Nashville, and as confirmed by ESPN’s Turron Davenport, Jones apparently went after Lewan before Tennessee’s sixth training camp practice on Tuesday, but it isn’t clear what the issue was.
Jones was kicked out of practice by head coach Mike Vrabel for his actions, but would later return to the field afterwards. Perhaps video will pop up of the confrontation, but there is none as of this writing.
When asked about the situation after practice, Jones said the two were “just playing around.”

Jones was signed as a free agent earlier this offseason in order to compete for the starting left guard job against Aaron Brewer, making this situation even more significant, as the winner of the battle lines up next to Lewan.
Again, it isn’t clear why Jones went after Lewan, but doing so won’t help Jones’ chances of sticking in Nashville, let alone winning the left guard competition.
