The Tennessee Titans saw a handful of player suffer injuries during the 19-10 Week 7 win over the Indianapolis Colts at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Sunday afternoon.
The list of injured players includes quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle), defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons (ankle), center Ben Jones (leg), and punter Ryan Stonehouse (knee).
While we didn’t receive any semblance of an update on Jones following the game, Tannehill and Simmons both talked about their respective injuries afterwards, and Tannehill was spotted in a walking boot.
Also, Stonehouse was spotted with an ice pack on his knee in the locker room, so it isn’t clear when or how he sustained his injury.
Here’s a look at what Simmons and Tannehill had to say about their ankle injuries after the culmination of Sunday’s game.
QB Ryan Tannehill
“[The ankle] doesn’t feel great,” Tannehill admitted. “I had to battle through it there at the end. Sometimes that comes with the territory, right? I’m going to be out there if I can at all possible. I’m going to do everything I can this week to get it right and feeling best I can for Sunday.”
DL Jeffery Simmons
“I was in pain,” Simmons admitted. “Especially when you get an ankle sprain it hurts… but we had five minutes left, I wanted to be on the field, so I’m going to fight through a little ankle sprain.”
