The Tennessee Titans reportedly hosted kicker Cade York for a visit on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson of Click2Houston.com.
York is a familiar face in Tennessee after he was signed to the practice squad right before the start of the 2023 season. He spent half the campaign there but didn’t see any action.
He was then poached by the New York Giants, but York didn’t play in a game for them, either, with Big Blue instead opting to utilize fellow former Titans kicker, Randy Bullock.
York was waived by the Giants but then brought back on the practice squad before his season ultimately ended on injured reserve.

Prior to his stints in Nashville and New York, York was a fourth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2022 but didn’t make it past final cuts in 2023 because of some struggles.
The Titans may need to add a kicker this offseason depending on what happens with veteran Nick Folk, who is a free agent. If Folk in indeed interested in returning, the Titans should absolutely bring him back.
Chances are, the Titans are looking to bring in York via a futures contract as a backup plan just in case Folk leaves, although York would almost certainly have to compete with another kicker for the job.
