With the 2023 NFL draft right around the corner, the Tennessee Titans have been doing their final pro day rounds.
One of their recent stops was in Madison, Wisconsin, where they undoubtedly had at least some level of interest in Joe Tippmann.
However, it appears that another Wisconsin offensive lineman may have also caught the attention of the Titans’ scouting department. Tennessee was one of several teams to meet with Tyler Beach after he had an impressive pro day, per Justin Melo of The Draft Network.

The Titans have made it publicly known how much they value players who are capable of sufficiently doing several different roles. Therefore, it’s pretty easy to figure out why they would be interested in getting a closer look at Beach while they were in Madison.
Over his entire college career, the Wisconsin product started seven games at right tackle (2020), 13 at left tackle (2020, 2021), and six at left guard (2022).
That type of versatility is always going to catch the attention of a Mike Vrabel-led team, and even more so when the team’s guard spots are relatively thin at the moment.
According to Pro Football Focus, out of 529 guards that qualified, Beach finished last season with the 105th-best run-blocking grade (68.8), 93rd-best pass-blocking grade (78.6), and 78th-highest overall grade (71.2).
The former Badger figures to be a Day 3 pick at best, so we’ll have to see if the Titans end up taking a mid-to-late round flyer on someone who could add some much-needed depth and versatility.
