One week after it was first reported, the Tennessee Titans have finally made their trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for cornerback L’Jarius Sneed official.
As was reported, the Titans announced they are sending a 2025 third-round pick to Kansas City and swapping seventh-round picks (the Titans get No. 252, the Chiefs get No. 221) in the deal.
Tennessee also revealed it has agreed to a multi-year extension with Sneed, which was reported to be a four-year deal worth $76.4 million, with $55 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus.
Sneed officially joins a secondary that already includes slot cornerback Roger McCreary and free-agent signing Chidobe Awuzie, a group that amounts to one of the better cornerbacks rooms in the NFL on paper.

It isn’t clear what took so long to announce the move, but all that matters is the deal is finally. I’d expect a press conference at some point after the weekend is over.
