If you had watched the first game of the Tennessee Titans’ season and not turn on another game until Week 18, you wouldn’t have missed a beat in terms of what went wrong for the Titans in 2022.
That’s because the same issues that plagued the Titans in Week 1 — a second-half collapse, poor offense, injuries, penalties, turnovers, and a defense doing its best to prop the team up — were prevalent in Week 18.
While the defense was the shining light of the season, even that side of the ball has a lot of question marks going into the offseason. Of course, the offense has several more.
As you’d expect, the Titans’ offensive rankings are, well, offensive, but the defense did put up some good numbers, including owning the No. 1 run defense in the NFL after finishing No. 2 in 2021.
