The Tennessee Titans have begun their search for their next defensive coordinator, but their list of options may include an in-house candidate.
According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, the Titans are holding on to defensive coordinator Shane Bowen for now as they assess outside options.
Bowen, who has received interest from multiple teams for their defensive coordinator vacancies, has been in his current role since 2021.
New Titans head coach Brian Callahan is very familiar with Bowen, whose defenses held Callahan’s offenses to 14 points per game in three contests since 2021. Tennessee’s unit held Cincinnati to just three points in 2023.
As Bowen appears to be under consideration, the Titans have been setting up interviews with multiple candidates. Keep scrolling to follow along with our defensive coordinator interview tracker, which will be updated regularly.
